Are You in Control of Your Life?

Are there times when you might feel as if you’re not in control of your life? At least not as much as you would like to be. Your body seems to be breaking down. Your mind doesn’t focus as well as it used to. You seem to be living more in fear and doubt than you used to. You worry about every little thing and tend to let your mind blow small aches and pains way out of proportion.

You worry to a point where you start making up stories by thinking you have the symptoms of some deadly disease.

You don’t spend much time thinking about the positive aspects of your life, but instead dwell on your problems long and hard enough to where they begin to take a greater control of your life.

Consider this. You may not be in as much control of your life as you think.

Most people are aware enough to realize there are those who seek to control this world including those of us in it. These people don’t want you to realize this and they will go to great lengths to keep this knowledge from you.

Knowledge is power and they don’t want you to have either one. They want to be in control of your life including your body and your mind.

They will never control your spirit. The best they can do is suppress the knowledge of it.

If you let others tell you what to do, what to say or what to think, then you are no longer in total control. It has been taken from you. You have unknowingly given it away.

Those who seek to control the people of this world use many different ways to do this including television media which has been proven to be a huge propaganda machine. Big pharma uses its arsenal of medications with lists of side effects as long as your arm to gain control your body. Some of these drugs may be helpful but when side effects cause you to need another drug to control those side effects, then you are losing control and they are gaining it. There are other less blatant and more subtle ways you are giving away your control. Social media being a couple of them.

Why is this important to know?

Because if you feel you’ve lost or are losing control. If you are living with ill health, fear, worry or anxiety on your mind you need to realize, it may not be this way by accident. These things really screw with your retirement.

If you've never thought about this it might be time you did.

You’re not who you might think you are.

When asked to describe who you are, most people default to surface information like your name, age, how you make a living, marital status and how many kids you have.

This might be your statistics, but it’s not who you are. Not really. The truth of who you are goes much deeper than this.

Give yourself a reality check. It’s time to think a little deeper

The reality is, first and foremost you are a spiritual being. You are here on this planet for a reason. You chose to be here at this time and in this place, with this body and with this mind.

You came here with total control over both. Don’t unknowingly give it away.

Remember who you really are and that you should be in charge of your own life.

My suggestion is to have a talk with yourself

Have a heart to heart conversation with your body and your mind. Just like you would with your children. Teach your mind to love and respect your body. To exist in a positive state of love, not fear. To not be anxious or worry about things beyond its control.

Reassure your body that the mind will not bully, abuse or stress it out with needless worry, anxiety and negative thinking. Shower your body with reassuring thoughts of love. Let it know it’s time to heal.

It may take some time to reshape your mind into the positive force you want it to be, but it can be done. It may take time to reassure your body of its healing ability, but it can be done as well.

You need to come to realize you are much more than a one dimensional human on this planet. You have a spirit and this spirit in you is in charge of your body and your mind. Don’t give your control away. It will gladly be accepted. You need to keep it. Only you know what’s best for you.

Don’t Forget to Take Time for Yourself

One more thing. You need to take time for yourself. To rest and rejuvenate. This is where meditation comes into play. Meditation is a way for you to essentially lock yourself in a room away from the demands and concerns of this life and to concentrate, commune and communicate with your Source. Meditation is an essential part of being in control of who you are. It’s the glue that holds the Mind, Body and Spiritual connection together. Mindful Meditation allows you to do more than just survive in this earthly environment. It allows you to thrive.

Remember, you are in control of your life. If you feel like you’ve either lost or are losing control, it’s time to take it back.

Keep your body in shape and your mind clear. Understand that you are more than you might know. Do this and you will have a Successful Retirement.
