Ray Bradbury

ray bradbury

Ray Bradbury (1920–2012) was an American author best known for his science fiction, fantasy, and dystopian works. Born in Waukegan, Illinois, he developed a passion for storytelling early on, inspired by pulp magazines, movies, and libraries.

His most famous novel, "Fahrenheit 451" (1953), explores a dystopian future where books are banned and burned. He also wrote "The Martian Chronicles", blending science fiction with social commentary, and "Something Wicked This Way Comes", a dark fantasy novel.

Bradbury’s lyrical prose and deep human themes set him apart in speculative fiction. His work influenced generations of writers and filmmakers, making him one of the most celebrated literary voices of the 20th century.
